  • Maintains accountability with assigned project Field Operations Manager to ensure Project Documentation is complete (daily logs, photos, schedule updates, 2-week look ahead, time-tracking, NESHAP management, etc.)
  • Authorizes any subcontractor/vendor invoicing not coinciding with project work orders issued in coordination with Sales/Estimating
  • Reviews final/retention subcontractor billings; approve/deny
  • Maintains all team-relationships on the project (Client, Field Operations, Subcontractor/Vendors)
  • Manages project budget throughout duration of the job through Buildertrend
  • Ensures all project correspondence that occurs outside of project management software (i.e. Outlook) is captured into the project via Buildertrend
  • Responsible to ensure the project Punch list is documented in Project Management Software and that items open are completed and closed in a timely manner, in coordination and collaboration with the Field Operations Manager and Project Coordinator
  • Ensures client close-out is furnished to the client in a timely manner (Coordinates efforts with PC), and follow up with Client to obtain performance feedback

Hiring and Training Manager

The Viking Specialty Contracting Hiring/Training Manager is an integral partner in establishing and maintaining the company culture of “Excellence in Service”. In alignment with the Viking Specialty Contracting Service Matrix, this position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following tasks

  • In partnership with management, create and maintain a hiring profile and subsequent hiring system
  • Create and maintain wage structure pursuant to the financial strategy
  • Actively solicit new recruits that meet the hiring profile and perform interviews
  • Manage wage profiles according to established wage protocols
  • Provide new employee orientation for new hires
  • Provide ongoing safety and service training for new hires and existing employees
  • Create new safety and service curriculums for future training modules
  • Design and implement reporting for employee retention, efficacy, and production rates
  • Develop internal employee marketing campaigns for use in recruitment

  • Implement ongoing safety education through the delivery of curriculum to Field Operations Managers

Project Coordinator

  • Ability to utilize technology in order to increase efficiency
  • Ability to utilize Buildertrend to complete all Warehouse Manager functions
  • Demonstrable written, oral communication, and listening skills
  • Cursory knowledge in all abatement, demolition and related trades in order to adequately deliver field objectives
  • Ability to pass a drug screening test
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and variables simultaneously
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook, Buildertrend and Excel
  • Clean driving record
  • Have reliable transportation with proper registration and insurance

Experience

  • Demonstrated minimum of 2 years’ experience as Warehouse Manager
